Building Confidence,
Connection
and Change
Hi, I’m Donna, founder of the DPA.
I help people, communities and organisations build confidence, strengthen connection and create meaningful change.
What the DPA does.
I design and facilitate programmes, workshops and development support that strengthen confidence, connection and communication.
Working across organisations, communities and education, I help create the conditions for people and organisations to thrive.
West Midlands–based • Online & in-person
Why this support matters?

They grow when people feel safe enough to contribute, connected enough to belong, and supported enough to develop.”

The DPA:DNA approach.
My work focuses on communication, relationships and how people experience work.
The DPA:DNA approach works through three core conditions — confidence, connection and change — combining wellbeing, neuroscience and creative practice to strengthen trust, engagement and collaboration.
This is how psychological safety becomes something lived, not just described.
How this shows up in practice.
🗸 Increased self-awareness and confidence, helping people express ideas and show up more fully
🗸 Clear communication that reduces friction and builds understanding
🗸 Stronger connection, trust and collaboration between people and groups
🗸 More open, creative ways of working that support adaptability and progress
Why creativity matters.
Creativity isn’t just about art.
It’s how people solve problems, adapt to change, communicate ideas and create new possibilities.
Research shows strong links between creativity, wellbeing, innovation and psychological safety. When people feel safe enough to speak up, experiment and think differently, better ideas, stronger collaboration and healthier ways of working emerge.
As a professional creative, facilitator and organisational development practitioner, I use creative thinking as a practical tool for connection, reflection, problem-solving and meaningful change, building confidence, connection and change in practice.
About me.
I’ve always been curious about how people think, communicate and connect — and what gets in the way when they don’t.
What I’ve learned over 20 years is that the conditions around people matter just as much as the people themselves. That understanding has shaped my work across organisational development, facilitation, communication, wellbeing, leadership and marketing, supporting more than 1,500 people across education, business, public sector and community settings.
At the centre of it, I create reflective, psychologically safe spaces where people can communicate more openly, think differently and create meaningful change.
Alongside my work through Dynamic Potential Academy, I’m Development & Partnership Lead at CRASAC, where I develop trauma-informed partnership and communication strategies that strengthen connection between organisations, communities and people.
Alongside both roles, I’m also a practising creative — painting, making, and working with mess — and that creative thread runs through everything I do, from how I understand communication and human behaviour to how I design spaces for thinking, reflection and change.
