cognitive Wellness through Creativity

Welcome

Hi there, I’m Donna. I’m an wellness facilitator.

What’s that I hear you say… it means I support you to heal and manage your well-being. I utilise evidence-based findings from neuroscientific, neuroesthetic, and neuro-plasticity research about creativity and bring it to you in regular, valuable and practical sessions.

I’ve been running this business for a few years, and the results speak for themselves.

"Researchers discovered that people who engaged in artistic activities, such as painting, drawing and sculpting, in both middle and old age were 73% less likely to have memory and thinking problems, such as mild cognitive Impairment, that lead to dementia"

(new study in Neurology, a medical journal of the American Academy of Neurology)

Person-centric cognitive development Sessions

Participants inform session themes and take part in fun, practical activities, e.g. painting, drawing, photography, etc., improving cognitive wellness, and giving people a visual voice and a new way to communicate; this helps break down isolation.

Recent research in Neuroaesthetics shows the benefits of creativity for the brain, such as improved mood, Increased happiness, sense of wellness, increased mental health and brain function.

CONNECT Observation sessions

Participants are given space to reflect and connect with their emotions by viewing other people's work. Observation provides a unique insight into the patient's experience and can be a stepping stone for active participation.
