why i created connect, Get-togethers
Getting together and authentically connecting is needed right now, especially in a world where we are divided and distracted.
As someone who has run her solo and team-based businesses and developed a varied career, I’ve craved the opportunity to connect with people in a productive, informal and fun way without the pressure of, ‘what can I get from this?’. Connect get-togethers are a chance for you to do this.
This event will enable you to meet future workmates, friends and opportunities whilst taking time to have fun and celebrate.
That’s why I invite you to CONNECT.
-
Life can be overwhelming and lonely, but it doesn't have to be that way. This event is about bringing people together, kicking back and having fun first and foremost. Connections, ideas and opportunities spark as a result.
-
You will meet like-minded people and build genuine relationships with potential business/career supporters and collaborators. We support one another, take stock, and celebrate the good times!
-
Meet like-minded people and make contacts in different industries, businesses and career levels in an informal way, whilst de-stressing, letting your hair down and relaxing.
Connect Get-Togethers
Connect is the DPA's main regular “Coffee, Chat, Coffee, Cuppa Get Togethers”.
At DPA we feel it is beneficial for our well-being to regularly take the time to get offline and meet in-person to connect with each other. At these meet-ups we like to check-in with conversations about well-being whilst having fun with little creative tasks.
